Letters and packets - Size-based Pricing
From the 8 May 2010, the way Jersey Post charges for post will change. From this date items will be priced on their size as well as their weight and will fall into one of three categories. More information on these categories can be found in the table below.
In addition, there will be greater delivery choice for any item being posted to a Jersey address. The Standard service starts from 36p* and has a three-day delivery target, whilst Priority gives next-day delivery from 39p*.

A4 documents, CDs and DVDs in their cases, certificates, some larger greeting cards, greetings cards with with badges and magazines will probably fall into this category. Items in this category must not exceed:

Gifts, clothes, shoes, posters, larger books and documents will probably fall into this category. Items in this category must not exceed:
Dimensions: 610mm x 460mm x 460mm OR
Weight: 2kg
Maximum packet dimensions
If the packet you are sending exceeds these dimensions or weighs more than 2kg, your item will need to be sent by Parcel service.
Rolled items
The maximum length for rolled or cylindrical items is 900mm, and the length plus twice the item diameter must be no more than 1040mm.
