09.11.11 - 2011 Christmas posting dates
Jersey Post is reminding Islanders to post Christmas cards and gifts as early as possible to ensure that Christmas cards and gifts arrive on time.
In spite of the digital revolution in communications, when it comes to the season of goodwill, many Islanders still prefer the traditional method of relying on the postal services for sending seasonal greetings to family and friends in the Island, the UK and overseas, making the coming weeks the busiest of the year at Jersey Post.
Kevin Keen, Chief Executive Officer, said Jersey Post was delighted to be playing such an important community role at such a special time of the year for Island families.
‘We want to make sure that all items sent from Jersey, to destinations all over the world arrive in time for people to celebrate Christmas knowing that their relations and friends in the Island are thinking of them’ he said.
