Receiving mail - SecureDrop

SecureDrop service

If you are at work during the day, or are often out of the house, Jersey Post’s SecureDrop service will enable you to receive packets and parcels even when you’re not in.

SecureDrop allows you to nominate an alternative location on their property where larger packets and parcels, that do not require a signature, can be left by the postal worker if there is no answer at the door.

The alternative delivery point should be a safely accessible, weatherproof location within the boundaries of your property and should also be out of sight of passers by. Once you've nominated this location and it is approved, Jersey Post will deliver any item too big for the letterbox to your SecureDrop whenever you’re not at home.

To sign up for this service, you will need to download and complete the application form from the Related Links section and provide the following:

  • An original or certified copy* of a recent utility bill, bank or credit card statement.

Please note - the name and address on your identification must match the details on your completed application form.

*A 'certified copy' is a copy which has been certified "as a true copy of the original" by a practising lawyer, accountant, doctor, or chartered secretary (ICSA qualified) or a police officer or a Member of the Royal Court. The name and position/qualification of the person certifying the document must be included and be legible.

Once you have the documentation and completed application form, please return it in person or alternatively by post to:
