Mail redirection

If you’re moving house, going away for a length of time, or need an alternative delivery location on a temporary or permanent basis, Jersey Post offers a range of convenient solutions to prevent a build-up of mail on your doorstep.
Cost: Pricing for our Mail Redirection service starts from £22.00 a month for a Jersey-to-Jersey redirection and can be set up within three working days.

Mail retention

If you’re planning on going away for a length of time you might want to consider using our retention of mail service. With this service, we will hold your mail for a period of time of up to two months.
Cost: The cost to set up the service is £20.70 per month.

From receipt of information, it will take approximately five working days to set up this service. We regret that we are unable to accept postal applications for this service.

PO Boxes

A PO Box service can help you manage incoming mail by separating specific items from your normal post or it can help you project a professional image with a discreet, non-geographic address.
Cost: PO Box prices are set in December each year for the year to come. 2013 prices are as follows:

Additional key/authority card £12.00 per key/card
Replacement lock (including 2 new keys) £46.35

*Please note - the £185.00 charge above is an annual fee. Those customers commencing their PO Box service part way through the year will be charged a pro-rata payment based on the number of remaining months in the year.

SecureDrop

Our FREE SecureDrop service means you can receive packets and parcels even when you are not at home to be able to receive them.

Surcharges

Occasionally, when insufficient postage is applied at the point of posting items, it is necessary for Jersey Post to levy a surcharge that covers the cost of putting the item through the postal system.
