Size-based Pricing

The cost of sending an item by post from Jersey is calculated on size as well as weight. Every item sent falls into one of three categories. More information on these categories can be found opposite.

There is one service for all items of local mail which starts from 45p* and provides next-day on-island delivery. Further details on pricing can be found below.

Letter

Maximum: Length 240mm, Width 165mm, Thickness 5mm, Weight 100g

Examples: Greeting Cards, Personal Letters, Postcards, Bills

Large Letter

Maximum: Length 353mm, Width 250mm, Thickness 250mm, Weight 750g

Examples: A4 Documents, CDs, DVDs in their cases, Certificates, Large Greeting Cards, Most Magazines

Packet

Maximum: Length 610mm, Width 460mm, Thickness 460mm, Weight 2kg

Examples: Gifts, Clothes, Shoes, Posters, Video Tapes, Large Books

Parcel

Maximum:

Size 1.5m in any dimension
Length and girth combined no more than 3m
Weight 30kg (depending on country)
