Whether you’re sending items locally, to the UK, Europe or further afield, you can now print labels at home or work at a time convenient to you. 

Presently, our Online Postage service allows you to buy and print Premium postage labels for Large Letters, Parcels and Large Parcels to the UK and locally. For international mail items you are able to purchase both Premium and Standard postage for Large Letters and Standard postage for Parcels and Large parcels. Customer's purchasing postage online will benefit from a 2% discount on postage rates compared to over the counter prices.

IMPORTANT: Providing Electronic Advance Data (EAD) on International Items
Driven by Universal Postal Union (UPU) regulatory changes, anyone sending parcels internationally must provide electronic pre-advice customs information. This includes information on the sender, the recipient, and the details of the contents within the parcel. For more information, click here.

Jersey Post advises customers sending mail to consider using our ‘tracked and signed services’ as this will stand the best chance of a delivery attempt during this period of extraordinary measures. Please note that as of 18th March 2020 until further notice, we are suspending the payment of compensation for items lost, or not delivered also we are not Guaranteeing next day services.

Service Updates

1. Register For An Account

Register for a free Jersey Post account or login if you already have a username and password. 

2. Buy Postage Online

Once registered, buy and print your postage label and affix it securely to your item.

3. Post Your Item!

Drop your item off at our Broad Street or Rue des Pres Post Office, or pop it in a Post Box if it fits.

They can be applied using glue or sellotape, but please do not sellotape over any of the barcodes. Sellotape makes it difficult for our machines to read the important codes and could result in a delay to your mail being  processed and made ready for despatch.

Once you've securely and correctly affixed the postage label to your item there are a number of ways you can get it to us, either:

  • Drop it in to the counter at our Broad Street Post Office or Postal Headquarters at Rue des Pres;
  • Post it in a letterbox providing it will fit; or
  • Have it collected as part of a scheduled Business Collect service (only available to business customers)

Yes, the labels that are produced from our online postage system need to be used within 48 hours of printing.

No. The postage labels that our online service produces are only for single use. They have built in tracking numbers that are read and recognised by our sorting machines which will detect labels that have been copied and used multiple times.
