Returning items to online retailers has never been easier with our improved, faster returns service.
We estimate 3-5 working days for any returns and up to 14 working days for refunds for the retailers we have agreements with. Click here to find out who those retailers are.
We are unable to provide a delivery time frame for the Royal Mail returns as this is not a tracked service and is used at your own risk.
There are several ways you can return items:
If you have used a returns label from a retailer that Jersey Post has an agreement with or paid for a tracked service at the post office, your item will be trackable. Any Royal Mail returns cannot be tracked and therefore we would be unable to provide proof of delivery.
Jersey Post accepts returns labels using a Royal Mail delivery service, except for pre-paid special delivery bags. However, please note these returns are not trackable and are sent at your own risk.
Alternatively, you will need to visit the post office with the addressed returns package and pay for postage including any tracking you require.
If you have a Royal Mail returns label included with your package, you may use this to return your item through Jersey Post. However, please note that the return will not use a trackable service and are sent at your own risk.
The retailers that have a trackable returns service can be found here. You can also pay for a trackable service if you pay additional postage at the post office for your return. Any Royal Mail returns labels included with your package are not trackable and are sent at your own risk.
Jersey Post cannot make use of the Label-less QR codes for Amazon as we do not have the facilities to scan them.
We have printing machines at all our post offices, which means you can still use our online postage portal to create your postage labels. Visit any post office and show one of our counter staff the label and barcode number. They will then print the label instore for you to affix to your parcel. To purchase your label online please start here.
Please note that these printers are only for printing postage labels that have been purchased using our online postage portal. If you wish to print labels from Amazon and other retailers that are not a Jersey Post returns partner, you can print these at Rue des Pres and Broad Street. You can view our full list of returns partners here.
If you have used a returns label from a retailer that Jersey Post has an agreement with, all claims must be submitted through the retailer. Claims cannot be made to Jersey Post directly.
If you have paid for a tracked service at the post office, you will be able to claim for a lost item after 21 days.
If you have used a Royal Mail returns label, you would be unable to claim through Jersey Post for your item. This is because the service used is a free return and therefore no postage has been purchased through Jersey Post. You would need to claim through the company that your item was returned to.
