Post office services

The parcel collection counter at Postal Headquarters, Rue des Pres Trading Estate is open Monday to Friday  08:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 08:30 - 13:00. We are closed on all Public Holidays. For further information on our opening times, please click here.

Bill payments can be made at the majority of our island-wide post offices.

Post offices now accept bill payments for Jersey Water, Jersey Gas, Jersey Electricity and JT. You can also pay for your TV licence at post offices as well as purchase pay cards, season tickets and some pay-as-you-go mobile phone credit. Please click here for post office information.

Bill payments can be made in cash, by cheque or with a credit/debit card.

We would recommend leaving a minimum of two days to make your bill payment e.g. if your bill is due on 25th of each month, please ensure that you have paid at the post office by 23rd of each month, or closest working day to that date.

Provided that you know your account details, we can process payment without the actual bill. If you're unsure of your account details, it's advisable to bring your printed bill receipt with you.

At present we can certify copies of passports, driving licenses, recent utility bills and bank statements.

We are only able to offer this service at Broad Street and Rue des Pres post offices.

There is a fee for this service. This fee covers the certification of up to three documents. Please be advised that we are unable to accept cheque payment for document certification. To download a application form, click here.

We have printing machines at all our post offices, which means you can still use our online postage portal to create your postage labels. Visit any post office and show one of our counter staff the label and barcode number. They will then print the label instore for you to affix to your parcel. To purchase your label online please start here.

Please note that these printers are only for printing postage labels that have been purchased using our online postage portal. If you wish to print labels from Amazon and other retailers that are not a Jersey Post returns partner, you can print these at Rue des Pres and Broad Street. You can view our full list of returns partners here.
